Attorney Anna Nika grew up in Springfield, Illinois, before leaving to attend Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. After graduating fifth in her class, she graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School and was admitted to practice law in 2005.
Anna originally focused her practice on small business planning and tax law before being drawn to family law matters. She has 16 years of professional experience, 12 of which have been spent specifically in family law. She found her purpose in helping people maintain their family dynamic while facing tough legal issues. Having children herself helped her understand that family law practitioners must be both sensitive and aggressive in protecting the best interests of families and children. Anna’s stepson has also helped her personally understand the unique dynamics of a blended family, and these insights allow her to better serve a wide variety of families.
Anna provides a client-centered approach to every case, empathizing with clients in an effort to find the fairest and most optimal solution to their legal matter. She concentrates on the aspects of a case that matter most to her client and applies a mixture of her practical experience, personal understanding, and educational history to help clients receive the outcome they need to move forward in their life.
Anna loves traveling after studying as a foreign exchange student in Lyon, France. She has a deep love for art history and studied Northern Baroque and Byzantine art. She is looking forward to one day traveling to see her favorite art in person. She recently moved to Lewisville from Houston and her family is still looking for their local church home. She has four children and spends much of her free time attending school events and birthday parties.
